Hi! It's nice to meet you.

A year ago, I took a leap of faith and started my photography business.

I have always been fascinated with the way people express themselves through their art, and uncovering the stories behind their work. It is the reason why I worked in museums, large and small, for over 10 years. Working in this environment, creating exhibitions, and handling art was a dream come true.

When I became a mother, time seemed to slow down and accelerate at the same time. Like most parents, I first picked up the camera to share a few pictures of my kids with out-of-town relatives. Perhaps the Shutterbug bit me harder than most.

Very quickly, it became a passion. I began to rediscover the beauty in ordinary life and in those fleeting moments, easily forgotten. It then dawned on me that there are so many stories to be told... and that just maybe, if I worked hard, I might actually be able to try my hand at art, and help people tell their stories.

This past year, it has been a privilege to meet and photograph many beautiful and kind families.

I am very grateful for all that I have learned and discovered, and I look forward to what Year 2 has to bring.
